About the role

About the role

Are you an experienced proposal and bid professional who can bring people, expertise and customer requirements together in compelling proposals?

We are looking for a Senior Proposal and Bid Support Advisor to join our Customer Relations and Business Development team in Market Area BeNeLux.

You will support and coordinate complex and strategically important proposals for external customers. Working closely with Key Account Managers, technical experts, sales colleagues, legal specialists and other stakeholders. You will help translate our expertise into clear, persuasive and customer-focused proposals.

This role offers the opportunity to build on the experience and established working practices within our team. You will contribute your own expertise, support continuity and knowledge sharing, and help us further develop our proposal capability in response to changing customer needs, market developments and increasingly complex tenders.

Your responsibilities

As our Senior Proposal and Bid Support Advisor, you will:

  • Contribute to business growth by assisting with pre-qualifications, preparation of bids and frame agreements.
  • Administer and monitor customer tender portals and potential leads from defined external portals.
  • Support Key Account Managers and the Service Areas, including Bid Managers, with large, complex, and strategically important bids.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of bid requirements and evaluation criteria to develop competitive and compelling proposals.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality bid documents, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including sales, technical, and legal teams, to gather necessary information and inputs for bid proposals.
  • Organize and lead bid review meetings, incorporating feedback to improve the quality and effectiveness of future bids.
  • Maintain and update a repository of bid documents, templates, and standard responses to streamline the bid process.
  • Ensure all bid submissions adhere to company policies, client specifications, and industry regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the bid process, addressing any queries and providing regular updates.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on bid activities, success rates, and areas for improvement to senior management.
  • Provide market intelligence on energy market developments in the Market Area.
  • Deal with ad-hoc requests.

What we offer

You will join an international and collaborative environment in which your expertise will contribute directly to complex and strategically important customer proposals.

We offer:

  • An attractive total compensation package.
  • Access to pension and profit-sharing program.
  • Flexible working arrangements that support a healthy work-life balance.
  • Professional development through training, coaching, mentoring and international networks.
  • Collaboration with experienced and knowledgeable colleagues across Northern Europe.
  • The opportunity to contribute to projects that support the Energy Transition.

About you

What you bring

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrable experience leading complex, multidisciplinary and commercially important proposal processes.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to transform technical and commercial information into a clear and persuasive proposal.
