About the role

DNV’s Owner’s Engineering (OE) team is seeking a Senior Project Manager-Owner’s Engineering to perform a variety of engagements related to storage, solar, wind and other emerging technologies; where project stages vary from pre-feasibility development, design engineering and construction, through end-of-life management strategies.

The Owner’s Engineering team is growing rapidly! In this role, we are seeking an engaging, curious and confident individual who can leverage the expertise of DNV’s subject matter experts to enable our Customers to navigate and deliver on the energy transition.

Our OE team strives to develop long-term partnerships with our customers, acting as their trusted advisor from the earliest layouts through construction. • Engineering Design (preliminary wind, solar, and storage; and Engineer of Record on solar PV electrical design); development of technical specifications and engineering design standards
  • Technical Procurement support, including development of tender documents, RFPs, bid evaluation, EPC and supplier contract negotiation, and equipment risk mitigation recommendations and selection; and
  • Comprehensive OE services, including construction design review, construction monitoring, commissioning and acceptance testing support

This position can be located in our Austin, TX; Houston, TX; Medford, MA; Oakland, CA; San Diego, CA; Portland, OR; and Seattle, WA offices, presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from either a DNV office or client location/site. Further details regarding role-specific requirements will be shared during the interview process.

  • Own project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, customer communication, quality, and coordination of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help customers solve difficult or unusual problems, particularly as they enter new markets, technologies, or project types where the answer may not be obvious.
