As a trusted voice for many of the world’s most successful organizations, we use our knowledge to advance safety and performance, set industry benchmarks, and inspire and invent solutions to tackle global transformations.

About the role

Are you ready to use your business intelligence skills to help key energy stakeholders develop an actionable path to a safe, reliable, equitable, and carbon-free electric grid?

DNV - Energy Systems' Analytics and Digitalization group is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join our team, based out of our Gdynia, Poland office.

This role is suited to a BI professional who already has practical experience delivering Power BI solutions and can handle standard development assignments with a good degree of independence. The person should understand the full reporting lifecycle, from requirements and source data through transformation and modelling to visualization, deployment and support.

We value pragmatic problem-solving, curiosity and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate combines strong technical foundations with a user-focused approach and is comfortable working in a multicultural environment where clear communication and reliable delivery are important. Below we include a list of typical job expectations for this position.

What You'll Do

You will join a collaborative, cross-functional environment in which data is translated into clear, reliable and actionable business insights. The role combines hands-on dashboard development with data preparation, semantic modelling and close cooperation with business users.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of assigned deliverables, ask the right questions and recommend practical solutions rather than simply implement predefined requirements. You will work alongside BI Developers, Data Engineers, Analysts and Product Owners to develop new reporting solutions and continuously improve existing ones.

The successful candidate should be comfortable communicating technical topics to non-technical audiences, participating in client discussions and working independently while knowing when to involve other team members. Attention to quality, maintainability and user experience is essential.

The role is part of an international environment, with close collaboration across global teams, particularly in the US. It offers a high degree of autonomy and ownership, as well as opportunities to build strong partnerships across different locations and time zones. Occasional business travel to the US or other locations for meetings, conferences and similar business events may be part of the role, providing valuable opportunities for in-person collaboration and relationship building.
