Supporting customer confidence. Growing through shared experiences.
My job involves working with people, and the people are the customers. My main job is to make sure that this interaction they have with the DNV is supported, confident, and easy for them to do. I believe our customers and users think trust and expertise when they hear DNV. The most exciting part is The fact that I get to work in a real industry. Maritime is 80% of shipping in the world. So getting to make different interfaces and technology to help boost this industry at this young age, being able to contribute in that journey is amazing. You're not always tied to your degree or your role. It's very open for you to grow in another role if that's what you prefer. My manager was very supportive when I needed to know more about the industry that we work in. And what he did was that he sent me to different conferences in Norway and international where I could have a direct conversation with people who were our customers, partners and users. Sharing is a big thing. Sharing knowledge, experiences, histories, parties, social events, it's a big part of DNV. They always say that your life and your family comes first and that is something that is really nice and supportive to hear from your management team. I think that's an invaluable experience for a young professional.
