The variety of projects and exposure to emerging technologies have allowed her to expand her expertise far beyond her original field of study.

As a young female engineer entering the maritime industry, Grace was looking for a workplace where people were recognized for their abilities, ideas, and potential.

"From the beginning, I felt that people were valued for what they could bring to the table. I knew that my development would depend on my willingness to learn and contribute, and that gave me confidence," she explains.

One of the most rewarding aspects of Grace's journey has been the opportunity to continuously develop. As her experience has grown, she has taken on increasingly complex assignments, worked across teams, and contributed to projects that support customers through industry transformation.

"A big part of my growth comes from the trust I've received from both my manager and colleagues.  People are always willing to provide guidance and support, but they also encourage you to step outside your comfort zone," Grace says.

Looking back on her journey so far, Grace sees DNV as a place where curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning are part of everyday work.

Whether exploring new technologies, supporting customers, or learning from colleagues around the world, she continues to find opportunities to develop and make a meaningful contribution.

"Every challenge has been a chance to grow. I've learned so much already, and I'm excited about what comes next," she says.
