The Story

Making digital services easy to access

As part of the team behind the Veracity Marketplace, Behnoosh plays an important role in helping services and products reach customers.

Her work spans everything from setting up marketplace pages and coordinating terms and conditions to ensuring the financial setup is in place before a service goes live. The goal is simple: create a smooth onboarding experience that makes it easy for customers to access trusted digital services.

"I help bring services and products onto the Veracity Marketplace. In practice, it's about making the onboarding journey as smooth as possible so customers can easily access trusted digital services."
 

Learning, growing and taking initiative

Veracity was Behnoosh's first workplace, and the opportunity immediately stood out to her.

She was attracted by the chance to work at the intersection of technology, industry expertise and customer value. Just as importantly, it felt like a place where she could contribute from day one while learning from experienced colleagues.

"I liked that the work felt practical and meaningful, with a focus on solving real challenges. It also felt like a place where I could learn, contribute and grow together with supportive colleagues."
 

Turning ideas into value for customers

Working alongside a colleague from Energy Systems, she helped redesign several connected services and make them available for digital sales through Veracity. The project combined service development, cross-functional collaboration and practical problem-solving to create a simpler customer experience.

"It was rewarding because we worked across teams and transformed existing offerings into something customers could access more easily through Veracity."
 

A culture where people feel valued and heard

She describes the culture as welcoming, supportive and collaborative. Regular one-to-one meetings with her manager, combined with weekly team discussions, create opportunities for everyone to share ideas, ask questions and contribute to decisions.

"I appreciate that opinions are encouraged and considered. It helps everyone feel included and heard."

The sense of community extends beyond daily work. From Wednesday office lunches and informal gatherings to evenings spent cooking together and team activities such as beer-making sessions, colleagues regularly make time to connect outside the office.
 

Looking out for each other

Behnoosh also appreciates the focus on wellbeing and the genuine care people show one another.

She recalls a recent period when a colleague noticed she was under pressure before she had fully recognised it herself and encouraged her to take some time off.

"That kind of support means a lot because it shows that wellbeing is taken seriously and that people genuinely look out for each other."

Outside work, she enjoys staying active through swimming, dancing and running, while also making time to relax and catch up with friends.
