About the role

Maritime Communications and Marketing supports Maritime at DNV, the world's leading classification society, in driving the industry transition towards a digital, efficient and eco-friendly future. Through thought leadership, brand building and revenue generation, our international team of more than 40 communications and marketing experts helps customers navigate one of the industry’s most transformative times. Joining us means contributing to DNV’s purpose of safeguarding life, property and the environment while working alongside experts across strategy and leadership communication, marketing communication, branding, digital communications, media relations and PR, social media, and employee communications.

The Digital Communications & Sales Enablement team takes ownership of all DNV Maritime’s digital marketing and customer experience, and leads the planning, alignment, implementation and execution of digital marketing and commerce campaigns. The team has a clear objective to aim their marketing efforts at valuable digital lead generation and holistic customer experience. To achieve this, the team defines and optimizes the end-to-end omni-channel marketing and sales process in close cooperation with our global sales and business development organization.

We are looking for an ambitious, digitally savvy and daring Global Digital Marketing Manager to help take our global digital marketing activities to the next level. You will join a supportive, high-performing team where you can experiment, learn and turn ideas into meaningful customer experiences. The position is based in Oslo, Norway, and reports to the Head of Digital Marketing & Sales Enablement.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling, customer-centric value propositions with clear product-market fit as the basis for digital marketing and commerce activities

  • Drive our CX agenda, creating relevant and engaging digital interactions across the customer journey.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Business Development on omni-channel demand generation, lead nurturing and lead follow-up to achieve high levels of customer engagement and conversion.

  • Manage integrated, multi-channel digital campaigns using smart segmentations to reach the right audiences and support business growth.

  • Develop a best-in-class digital user experience across relevant touchpoints along the entire end-to-end customer journey.

  • Use AI to transform how we work in Marketing, identifying and applying opportunities to improve insight, personalization, content, campaign execution and effectiveness.

  • Use data, insights, and performance measurement to continuously optimize digital activities and demonstrate business impact.

  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional projects supporting DNV Maritime’s strategic growth initiatives.

What you need:

  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Business, Business Administration or any humanities or similar.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in communications, digital marketing, or marketing.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Digital mindset with a high motivation and affinity to work with a state-of-the-art marketing technology.
  • Daring to constantly test and pilot new approaches while not being afraid to fail and learn.
  • Excellent team-player, open to collaborate and share while also getting things done independently.
  • Strong AI curiosity and literacy, applied AI knowledge combined with critical thinking and sound judgement.
  • Excellent communicator with a can-do attitude, strong organizational sensitivity and ability to advise, influence and convince key stakeholders.
  • Strategic and operational communication experience in digital marketing, from broad-reach campaigns to targeted and personalized customer engagement.
