DNV also provides voluntary product/process certification, pre-assessment services, and support for the pressure equipment industry. Some examples of those certification services are:

  • Certification of PED Quality Systems.
  • PED Type Examination.
  • PED Product Inspection/monitoring.
  • PED Design Examination.
  • Certification of welders and approvals of welding procedures.

When you join our team as Senior Inspector, you can expect the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Conducting inspections and assessments of pressure equipment to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Performing unit verification of single pressure tanks to entire process plants, which may include a global chain of sub-suppliers.
  • Certification of welders and approval of welding procedures.
  • Conducting both destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure the integrity and safety of pressure equipment.
  • Working with normative documents, industry standards, and codes.
  • Performing source inspections, site inspections, and in-service inspections.

About you

At DNV, we seek Inspectors with strong expertise in industry-standard measuring and testing tools, including their selection, use, and calibration. Knowledge of pressure testing, painting, and coating inspection is essential, along with experience in evaluating processes and materials used in pressure equipment fabrication and refurbishment.

Ideal candidates also have a solid grasp of inspection schemes and industry standards across manufacturing, installation, and operations. Additional skills and experience we are looking for are:

  • Technical Competence: take ownership of their professional growth, work independently, and apply both their own expertise and DNV best practices.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Effective, clear communication is key. Candidates should support team goals, build positive relationships, and embrace feedback for continuous improvement.
