Åkerblå/DNV is looking for a committed environmental consultant who wants to make a difference in the aquaculture industry. You will have a varied working day with both fieldwork and office work, in beautiful surroundings along the coast.

About the position

We are looking for someone who has an interest in environmental issues in the marine environment. As an environmental consultant, you will have a central role in our work with environmental surveys and advice. You will be part of a strong professional environment with great interdisciplinary expertise, where collaboration and knowledge sharing are at the center. The position requires a good understanding of scientific methods, practical implementation skills, business understanding and "flair". In our biodiversity department, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team, where good discussions and professional support are an important part of everyday life. Candidates with relevant expertise will also be able to be used in visual investigations of vulnerable species and habitats.

Your main tasks:

  • Carry out standard environmental surveys related to aquaculture
  • Planning, organization and execution of field assignments
  • Electricity measurements and project work
  • Report writing and professional advice to customers
  • Follow-up of customers and sales of services
  • Travel in connection with assignments

  • Education in biology, preferably marine biology
  • Interest in and knowledge of the aquaculture industry
