What do we expect as a UX/UI designer?
As a UX/UI designer in Maritime Digital Development you will collaborate with other UX/UI designers, business domain experts, and developers in different development projects. You will get the chance to contribute with your expertise into several different projects with a wide range of complexity.
For some of these projects (new once) you will provide all the UX/UI deliverables such as journey maps, personas, wireframes, and prototypes driven by insight from both quantitative and qualitative user research. And for other projects (maintenance of existing) you may just contribute with good feedback and propose small adjustments based on your expertise.
You will also be part of a UX/UI team with several experts and a lot of competence. This team gathers several times a week to discuss problems, solutions and share knowledge.
The team plays an important role in aligning the various tools, services, and processes developed by Maritime Digital Development, this to ensure a seamless 'one-DNV experience' for our application users.
In this alignment process the team works closely with both technical architects and front-end developers.
As part of the alignment role, we are using both Ant Design, one of the most popular React UI library and Ant Design System which is a powerful UI kit for Figma. The UX/UI team are responsible for improving and maintaining the Design system so that it always reflects and coexist with DNV’s brand and digital guidelines.
