About the role

Group Tax is responsible for all aspects of DNV’s tax strategy and management and works holistically towards the broader regulatory landscape.

DNV’s current strategy has significant ambitions for in-organic growth and we have a high level of M&A activities. We have over the last couple of years built a Corporate Venture organization with big ambitions. Group Tax is a key player in DNV’s M&A and venture activities.

We are therefore looking to strengthen the Group Tax team at Høvik and are seeking a high-achieving tax lawyer with a commercial mindset and M&A experience from either a well-renowned law firm, Big 4 or an in-house tax function. The new position will focus on M&A/venture and internal restructurings, but also other national and international corporate tax matters.

About you

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Master in Law
  • 2-5 years' experience as a tax lawyer, in-house tax legal counsel or similar
  • Experience within Norwegian and international corporate tax and M&A transactions
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate easily with colleagues, and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex issues and deliver sound, timely judgments within deadlines
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Work location: the role is located at our head office at Høvik, Norway.
