As the internal support organization for DNV and DNV owned companies, we deliver shared services within Human Resources, Finance, IT and Real Estate & Procurement to DNV globally. GSS is responsible for many of the tools, processes and daily routines that create the backbone of DNV. 

About the role

As a Credit Collection Intern, you will support the Credit Collection team in day-to-day operations and gain valuable exposure to global finance processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with follow-ups on outstanding receivables using internal tools (e.g., OnGuard).
  • Sending reminder emails and supporting outbound collection calls under supervision.
  • Helping to document and escalate unresolved collection issues.
  • Supporting the preparation of reports and summaries for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with international teams and gaining exposure to global finance operations.

About you

Qualifications:

  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written); knowledge of another European language is a valuable asset.
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Willingness to learn and develop in a professional, international environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills and openness to working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Interest in financial processes such as order-to-cash and dispute resolution (prior experience is a plus but not required).
Security and compliance with statutory requirements in the countries in which we operate is essential for DNV.
