Join DNV’s Engineering, Environmental, Permitting & Sustainability department as our next Project Resource Scheduler. The ideal candidate in this role will enjoy engaging in multiple short scheduling activities in tandem. They will be skilled at balancing multiple tasks, organized, process-oriented, and have an aptitude for digitization. A candidate demonstrating an ability to work within our existing tools and workflows to maximize efficiency will work well with our friendly, even-keeled, work/life balanced team of engineers and consultants.

The Project Resource Scheduler role is an in-office position located in our Toronto, ON or Calgary, AB offices.

What You’ll Do

  • Create, monitor, review and efficiently distribute project tasks and schedules in accordance with best project practice between our department and internal company stakeholders
  • Report information appropriately to allow Engineering and Consulting technical experts to manage their projects and deliver on time and within budget through a digital scheduling tool (i.e., ClickUp)
  • Perform coordination of cross-functional departments to identify project issues, monitor action items, and work with the project manager to ensure resolution
  • Support progress summaries and communications to ensure department-wide deadlines and targets are met, on a weekly basis
  • Coordinate tasks, meeting updates, and deliverables between our department and cross-organizational stakeholders
  • Prepare, implement, and monitor scopes of work for control and integrity of final deliverables
  • Create, structure and/or review project proposals to go out for bid
  • Work closely with technical experts, project managers and project engineers
  • Support business development resources with Salesforce opportunity set-up, including the quote set-up process and other Salesforce workflow management
  • Support project managers with project start-up activities within the DNV Teamcenter platform, coordinating across the organization where necessary to establish projects in the accounting system, execute and file contractual documents, and set up necessary data storage procedures
  • Deliver on timely and cost-effective performance of duties
  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner while interacting with a variety of people in a corporate culture and within diversified situations

About you

What is Required

  • High-school diploma or equivalent
  • 1– 3-years of experience scheduling and coordinating for workflow activities or the equivalent experience
  • Relevant administrative experience, education or training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Word
  • Salesforce, Teamcenter, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Basware and/or Oracle experience
  • Prior experience in a project coordination role in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
  • Good analytical and planning skills with an eye for detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively within a team setting under pressure, and to provide clear direction when required to do so
  • Digital and AI curiosity
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • We conduct pre-employment background screening

What is Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science or Art Degree
  • Four (4) years of experience scheduling and/or coordinating workflow activities, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with ClickUp scheduling app or comparable applications
