The pipeline operations and flow technology team works with energy companies, suppliers, authorities, and other industry players as an independent service provider. We are recognized as the leading advisor providing operational-phase assurance for pipelines and other assets, both onshore and offshore, throughout their lifecycle, from concept, through operations and re-qualification, to decommissioning.
We deliver a broad suite of services within condition assessments and maintenance planning, technology development and qualification, e.g. pipelines for hydrogen and CO2 transport, technical assistance and operational support, and fitness for service assessments, e.g. gas transport and storage.
The Pipelines and Flow team in Høvik (Oslo) is part of the Pipeline Operations and Flow section with teams located in Norway, Germany and the Netherlands.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Contribute with flow competence to multi‐disciplinary projects within areas such as oil & gas, hydrogen value chain, carbon capture and storage, maritime, and offshore wind
- Thermohydraulic analysis of systems and components
- Heat transfer studies for projects such as subsea equipment, ship transport tanks and surrounding equipment
- Flow assurance, process simulations, analysis of flow induced loads
- Pipeline pressure protection studies for complex systems
- Operation support to oil & gas operators covering production support, fitness for service assessments, and root cause analysis
