About the role

As part of the Southern Europe, Middle East, Latin America region, we’re seeking a Market Manager – Renewables to develop our growth in France (including Morocco and Tunisia as secondary markets) in Renewables (Wind, Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems) segments. Reporting to the Market Area Manager for France, you will shape our market strategy, grow our customer base, and drive sales across our renewable energy portfolio. DNV Energy Systems provides a wide range of Technical and Commercial consultancy services to Renewable Project Developers, Investors, Lenders and Operators (Due Diligence services, Owner Engineering and Technology services…).

This is a strategic, customer-facing role with a strong commercial focus. You will ensure a superior customer experience, champion customer-centricity within our teams, and serve as the voice of the market internally. You'll also support the development of our people, contributing to a high-performing and collaborative sales culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and pipeline growth within Renewable Developers, Banks and Investment funds.
  • Develop and implement market strategies with a strong focus on France.
  • Provide market insights and analyze trends, including competitive intelligence and political developments.
  • Lead customer engagement efforts to increase satisfaction (CSRI).
  • Foster internal collaboration across business areas and functions.
  • Act as project sponsor for key opportunities and support high-quality delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong networks—internally and externally.
  • Support regional leadership in strategic planning and execution.

About you

  • Master’s degree or equivalent
  • 5–10 years’ experience in senior roles within the renewable energy industry or relevant sector
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, and customer relationship management
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Commercial acumen and ability to translate market insight into action
  • Fluent in French and English
