About the role

We are seeking an Internal Communications Advisor for DNV’s business area Digital Solutions for a 1 year maternity cover!

As an Internal Communications Advisor in Digital Solutions (DS) you will join our Marketing & Communications team and play a central role in shaping DS’ culture and driving employee engagement. You will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and collaborate with stakeholders across Digital Solutions' global organisation to deliver strategic storytelling, communication advise, insight and analytics.

You will be welcomed by a team of 21 marketing and communications professionals in DNV’s business area Digital Solutions and become part of a global network of marketing colleagues across DNV. The working language is English and preferred location is at our DNV headquarters just outside Oslo.

About the role and what you mainly will be doing:

  • Create engaging high-quality content in English to support achievement of business goals and strengthen company culture (editorial text, presentations, videos and more)
  • Drive internal communication for our new strategic direction by translating complex content into clear, compelling messages that help employees understand, align with, and contribute to our long-term goals
  • Act as a strategic communications partner to the Executive Leadership Team, delivering timely, consistent, and proactive messaging that informs and connects employees
  • Plan, coordinate and execute the Digital Solutions Global Town Hall meetings
  • Maintain our internal communication channels, ensure content is relevant and up-to-date

About you

  • Proven experience in internal and/or corporate communications or similar
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications, marketing, or other relevant fields
  • Exceptional written and spoken communications skills in English
  • Experience with SharePoint Online for creating and managing intranet content
  • Basic video editing and visual storytelling skills
  • Collaborative team spirit with the ability to work well under pressure, used to working with deadlines and engaging with senior leadership
  • Creative mindset with a passion for finding new ways to engage employees
