About the role

Our training and person certification business is growing, and we have exciting tasks and opportunities for a dedicated and engaged sales and business development specialist.

Your main responsibilities will range from sales of our training and person certification services to customers from a wide range of industries to the development of new service offerings according to the ever-changing needs of our customers. You will actively contribute to our growth ambitions by selling in-house training courses and creating growth and sales opportunities in public training and person certification services.

You will be responsible for your own sales budget, with the aim of creating growth through existing and new clients. As a Sales and Business Development Specialist, you will proactively build a sales pipeline within our current service portfolio while also expanding it with new offerings.

Some travelling within Norway will be required.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Customer care, sales, and proactive customer communication
  • Planning and executing sales activities to drive business growth
  • Following up on incoming leads from marketing campaigns, the website, and other channels
  • Building and managing a sales pipeline, and closing sales within different customer segments
  • Keeping our CRM systems up to date with accurate customer and sales information
  • Taking responsibility for achieving both personal and team sales targets

About you

The right candidate has a good balance between a commercial mindset and a customer-focused approach on one side, and a good understanding of complex business environments (systems and processes) on the other side.

A proven track record in a similar role within sales and business development is a strength.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience with B2B sales and customer service, preferably within training, certification, or related industries
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and customer relationship management
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—you build trust with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into tailored solutions
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, management systems (e.g. Quality, Environment, HSE/Safety, Information Security), or relevant industry sectors is preferable
  • Excellent Norwegian and English skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong customer focus and results orientation
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured, systematic way

Your primary workplace will be Høvik outside Oslo
