Tsuyoshi – Automotive Sector Technical Coordinator

This is Tsuyoshi Akakura from DNV. I come from chemical manufacturing. I’ve been with DNV since 2001. When I started as an ISO auditor, I worked in the chemical, electrical and metal industries. After becoming an IAFT auditor, I mainly worked in the automotive industry. At DNV you gain a wide range of experiences. In my previous industry, I knew little about other companies. But as an auditor, I can go anywhere, visit any company, and learn how people work in different environments. These experiences have broadened my perspective. As an auditor, I visited China, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Mexico. As a manager, I attended conferences in Oslo, Rotterdam, Houston and so on. DNV provides many learning opportunities. You can take training in new fields as well as existing ones, if you wish. These opportunities have been a source of motivation for me.
