The Story

Finding the best of both worlds

When Thomas joined Veracity, he was looking for a workplace where he could make an impact while continuing to develop professionally. What attracted him was the combination of DNV's strong workplace culture and Veracity's unique environment.

Today, Thomas works as a Principal Software Engineer for Veracity Marketplace. Alongside his technical responsibilities, he also serves as a Line Manager and Security Lead, combining hands-on development with leadership and cybersecurity expertise.

Building for the future

Among the projects Thomas is most proud of is the modernization of VUI, Veracity's design system.

The initiative focuses on creating consistent visual patterns and branding across applications while adapting the platform for a future where AI-assisted development becomes increasingly important.

"The goal is to create a design system that supports consistency across applications while evolving to meet changing ways of building and developing software."

Today, much of his focus is on cybersecurity. As Security Lead, he works to strengthen security practices and help ensure Veracity continues to deliver secure and trusted solutions.
