Mateusz - Engineer

My name is Mateusz and I'm working as an approval engineer in electrical systems in DNV. The most exciting thing is that I can see the new technologies on the vessels. We have quite a lot of new technologies when we can see things which we've never seen before. During my stay at DNV I participated in many courses, for example battery course, electrical system course. So it's quite a lot of opportunities at DNV if you want to develop. In general, we have the Scandinavian style of working. It means that we accept all people, different cultures. We have also a lot of social events. In my team, we have people from different countries. Collaboration is very good. We have a lot of ideas which you can share between us. My manager is located in Norway and he's a very supportive person. My colleagues from my team also support me a lot. If I need some help with projects, I can ask a lot of people inside my section and they are eager to teach me and help me. So I'm very grateful for this. In my opinion, to be like a trusted voice for our customer is to be... always available for the questions. Even in maritime we have a special tool which is named Technical Help Desk where our customers but also our surveyors can ask some questions if they need some support. I enjoy working at DNV. I think it's a company where you can grow professionally and also personally as well.
