Martine: Taking responsibility early. Connecting beyond work.
When you work in DNV, you get responsibilities from day one. So you can really work with top-level management. So it doesn't really matter if you are a junior or a senior, but you are a part of very important decisions and also strategy in DNV. What makes me proud to work in DNV is that we have these core values that we safeguard life, property and environment. And I feel like those values really reflect my own values. So that's one of the main reasons I really enjoy working in DNV. We are very inclusive. We care about the people in the company. And how that looks like is that we want you to succeed in the company. You are giving relevant opportunities. And also they want you to succeed in the tasks that you are given. You have a very close relationship with your manager, so they will usually give you feedback, and that is a great motivator to even work more and provide value to the company. In DNV, we have something called VEBIL, which is a sports association in DNV. So in this way, you can connect people also outside of work. Instead of not only working with each other, we connect outside. It can be after work, it can be kayaking in the nice fjords out there, and also other social activities. I like to run to work in the morning, and DNV provides great facilities to get changed. So this is a great way to start your day.
