Transcript

[00:03] I joined DNV back in 2010. Spent nine years in DNV.

[00:10] Over different capacities, um, heading the Head of Maritime Software.

[00:15] The time I joined and somewhere between 2015, I was the head of performance management.

[00:21] Both very different roles that I thoroughly enjoyed.

[00:26] Leading a team, doing both wholesales and pre-sales kind of projects.

[00:31] And I left around 2019, and the break from DNV allowed me to joun Wartsila to look into more of the voyage aspects, which is a little bit not so much in the engine room, but things that are happenign on the bridge, which was exciting in a few ways.

[00:51] So I had approached DNV back when I was still with Wartsila to look at joint opportunities for a partner, partnership collaboration.

[01:03] Te team I was talking to was this Veracity team, which I'm with now.

[01:08] It's really a very open culture. Certainly the doors are not closed for colleagues that have left.

[01:20] If the company sees that there's an opportunity to work with an individual tapping on their experience and something that we could work together to make better.

[01:33] DNV is always doing, is always at the front of the pack with very high levels of R&D work, which means that these are always translating to something which is very forward thinking.

[01:49] We have seen many examples of colleagues who have moved from one track to the other, depending on the experience that it brings along, the current opportunities that are existing in the organisation and most importantly, what as an individual, how we have also progress over the years.

[02:09] And DNVas an employer looks at this in the total or complete overview to see where we could help the business to move forward.

[02:23] Both in the business sense of it as well as to help employees to use and utilise the best of what we couldbring along to the organisation.
