Annika – Approval Engineer Fire Safety & Life Saving

My job here, plainly explained, is the approval of documents for systems regarding fire safety and life-saving. What excites me most about the job is your day-to-day work just changes. It's great to provide solutions for various designers all over the world. That does make me proud to be part of this global impact. I knew that DNV is a global player and has a reputation for quality and the work they do, and that was one of the primary reasons I applied for the job. It's very important to maintain the reputation that DNV has and kind of to represent it towards a customer. I think I got to actually experience the culture of DNV before I even started because it was very easy to approach the company. The whole process of applying was uncomplicated and fast. I'm being supported very much and I'm very grateful for that because I get to actually grow into the role and I'm not pushed into something I cannot handle. I'm also flexible to join a lot of the events here. I've met a lot of people in events that are not directly connected to work, and I found that is a great way to connect within the company, but also to learn a lot more about the industry. If you're looking for a place to be valued and grow professionally, then I think DNV is your place to be.
