About the role

Stichting BMWT-Keur is the owner and scheme manager of the quality system for periodic safety inspections of work equipment. The organization is focused on ensuring the reliability and quality assurance of the inspection processes, contributing to the image of safe machines that carry the BMWT-Keur certification.

As a BMWT-Keur Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting periodic safety inspections of work equipment across various product groups. Your role will involve ensuring the reliability and quality assurance of the inspection processes, contributing to the image of safe machines that carry the BMWT-Keur certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct periodic safety inspections of work equipment across various product groups.
  • Ensure the reliability and quality assurance of the inspection processes.
  • Compare the report on the inspection form with the actual state of the equipment.
  • Follow the established workflow and fill out digital reports for each inspection.

Equipment Checklist:

  • Visual Inspection:
    • Check for any visible damage or wear and tear on the equipment.
    • Ensure all safety guards and protective devices are in place and functional.
  • Operational Check:
    • Test the equipment to ensure it operates correctly and safely.
    • Verify that all control mechanisms are functioning properly.
  • Documentation Review:
    • Ensure all required documentation, such as maintenance records and previous inspection reports, are up-to-date and accurate.
    • Compare the inspection report with the actual state of the equipment.
  • Safety Features:
    • Check that all safety features, such as emergency stop buttons and warning labels, are present and operational.
    • Verify that the equipment meets all relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintenance Check:
    • Ensure that the equipment has been properly maintained and serviced according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
    • Identify any maintenance issues that need to be addressed.
