About the role

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Project Manager to join our Medical Devices team in India. The Project Manager will play a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring effective service delivery within medical project management throughout the unit. This role will involve monitoring performance indicators (KPIs), achieving performance targets, and continuously improving internal processes to maintain high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Efficiency and Cooperation:

  • Enhance cooperation and interaction within medical services delivery by working closely with the Global Certification Unit (GCU) and other units/managers.
  • Promote the sharing of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as single point contact for the customer for all project related activities

Service Coordination:

  • Create a complete project plan with timelines from technical file submission to certificate issuance
  • Ensure effective coordination of medical services delivery in the chain: GCU - Medical Team - assessors/auditors - clients.
  • Maintain medical services to meet the requirements from Notified Bodies (NB) and accreditation standards.
  • Periodic updates to customer and internal stakeholders on project progress and early warnings

Project Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Prepare and present information on project status for management reviews.
  • Actively support the sales department in reviewing customer demands and conducting feasibility assessments.
  • Assist the planning & scheduling in accurate scheduling and optimal resource utilization.

Risk and Quality Management:

  • Play an active role in project coordination, risk management, and control during planning, project delivery, and technical review phases.
  • Cooperate with the finance team for forecast preparation, analysis, and support in invoicing processes.

Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Ensure professional and responsive customer support, leading to high customer satisfaction and maintaining a strong market reputation.
  • Assist in handling complaint management to promptly address issues and uphold service quality.
  • Contribute to marketing activities to support business growth.

About you

  • University degree or equivalent qualification; a technical background is beneficial.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a preference for experience within the medical industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Professional background in project design, development, and risk evaluation.
  • Strong client communication skills and proven ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and project management abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
