DNV’s Healthcare group is seeking a Sales Development Representative, to take on the responsibility of leading the sales for DNV North America’s healthcare service line.

  A Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline. They work closely with the sales team to ensure that the company's sales goals are met.

What You’ll Do:

The following are some of the key responsibilities of an SDR:

  • Identifying potential customers and generating new business opportunities for the company
  • Contacting and qualifying potential customers
  • Setting appointments and following up on leads
  • Tracking progress towards meeting sales goals
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
  • Using customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities
  • Staying up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
  • Attending networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads
  • Providing regular reports on sales activities and results to management

What is Required
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration or relevant field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of direct sales experience, preferably in healthcare (hospital) related field
  • Proven presentation & negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Demonstrable leadership and proven recent history of success in sales
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite; Excel; Word; PowerPoint; Access
  • Willingness and ability to travel, up to 75% of the time
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • This role will require an established sales goal that aligns with the DNV Sales Incentive Scheme
  • We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening

  • Number of Qualified Leads Generated: This measures the quantity of leads that meet specific qualification criteria and are passed on to the sales team
  • Outbound Call/Email Activity: Tracks the volume of outbound calls and emails made by the SDRs. High activity levels indicate a proactive approach to lead generation
  • Conversion Rates: The percentage of leads that convert to the next stage in the sales funnel, such as from a lead to a meeting or from a meeting to a sales opportunity
  • Response Rates: Measures how often prospects respond to outreach efforts, such as emails or calls
  • Meetings Set and Held: Tracks the number of meetings scheduled and the number of those meetings that actually take place. This helps assess the effectiveness of the SDR’s outreach and follow-up
  • Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs): The number of opportunities that the sales team accepts as qualified and worth pursuing further
  • Pipeline Contribution: The value of the opportunities that SDRs add to the sales pipeline, indicating their impact on potential revenue
  • Time-to-Response: The average time it takes for an SDR to respond to a new lead. Faster response times can lead to higher conversion rates
  • Connect Rate: The percentage of outreach attempts that result in a connection with a potential buyer, such as an answered call or an opened email
  • Follow-Up Rate: Measures how consistently SDRs follow up with leads after the initial contact. Effective follow-up is crucial for nurturing leads through the sales process
