About the role

We are now strengthening our aquaculture unit with an experienced Business Developer for sea- and land-based projects. We are looking for professionals with a large network, who want to contribute to sustainable growth through professional deliveries.

As Business developer within the aquaculture industry in DNV, you will support our customers with your professional expertise and DNV's methodology and approach. You will take development-, customer- and sales responsibility for our services and for innovative development projects. You will have the opportunity to work independently and customer-oriented in a strong and supportive collegial professional environment with a varied and exciting customer portfolio. You will gain an insight into innovation processes and the latest technology that contribute to the improvement of the industry. You will further develop your network and build relationships with colleagues in the industry and other industries who are also engaged in ensuring sustainable seafood for future generations. In addition to the necessary training, you also get the opportunity to develop yourself both professionally and personally in our organization.

Duties will be, but are not limited to:

  • Service and portfolio development
  • Customer responsibility.
  • Project sponsor responsibility.
  • Be a key person in your field of expertise.
  • Team development
  • Industry development

About you

To succeed in this position, we believe it is important that you have a great interest in the aquaculture industry, and that you are independent and able to see opportunities with our customers. You enjoy working with the assessment of complex issues and quickly understand questions and problems. As business developer at DNV, you are organized and systematic in your approach, plan and set clear priorities. You have high integrity and are detail-oriented and accurate.

You have a positive and proactive attitude to work tasks. In the role, you can combine theoretical knowledge and practical skills and communicate and present clearly and effectively. You are professional and can familiarize yourself with and understand the customer's needs. You like to learn and are motivated by developing professionally. You collaborate well with others, and share knowledge, experiences and information. You have a strong desire to contribute to a more sustainable industry.

Your qualifications:

  • Master's degree in aquaculture or relevant engineering subjects
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the aquaculture industry
  • Documented customer manager experience, preferably as KAM
  • Documented sales experience

Advantageous skills:

  • Large network within the aquaculture industry and supplier industry
  • Experience with NS 9415 and DNV values
  • Very good Norwegian and English skills, both oral and written
