About the role

We have exciting new positions for established leaders with sustainability, supply chain advisory and/or non-financial audit experience to continue the growth of our UK unit delivering first-class services on ESG strategy. With a proven track record of commercial, people and technical skills in one or more of the following areas (see below) - you will manage and lead a team of world-class experts in supporting our clients to integrate sustainability, safety and compliance performance into their core business, enterprise risk management, operations, and value chains by delivering a full suite of assurance and advisory services.

- Sustainable finance advisory

- Sustainability strategy

- Sustainable Supply chain

- ESG Due Diligence

In this position, you will

• Lead and carry out DNV’s strategy of building client and industry relationships; understanding the client business; and delivering exceptional value through DNV’s extensive portfolio of services

• Be accountable for the section’s P&L, shape further growth, initiate significant client leads and build your own team.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

• Proven business development experience related to ESG and Sustainability Services (including but not exclusively) Sustainable Finance, Report Assurance, Strategy, Supply Chain; Decarbonisation.

• Proven experience with operating at Board level, with a strong network at Executive Committee Level

• Project Director skills with senior internal and external stakeholder management experience

• Line management and team recruitment / retention within a large sustainability consultancy practice

• Demonstrable senior-level experience in corporate ESG/sustainability/supply chain/product compliance in one or more of our services outlined above

• Ability to direct the work of multiple project teams efficiently and effectively

• Accountability towards service area and individual sales targets with demonstrable performance against these

• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to be inclusive and be clear and concise

• Proactively seeks to identify real customer needs and manages client expectations accordingly

• An understanding of conflicting stakeholder needs and the ability to develop solutions to address these

• Willingness to travel and work around the UK and overseas
