About the role

Join DNV Publishing House – shape the future of technical publishing

The DNV Publishing House plays a vital role in supporting all business areas across the DNV organization. We support the development and maintenance of DNV rules and standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and excellence in document processing and publishing.

We have a free position as Production Responsible in our team, managing a part of the DNV rules and standards portfolio. You’ll join a dedicated team of eight professionals managing a portfolio of around 1,000 documents that support a wide range of technologies and industries.

We are looking for a teammate who thrives on change, embraces challenges, and brings a fresh, agile mindset to our team. If you’re passionate about digital innovation, love working with images and graphics, and want to take technical publishing to the next level, this is your opportunity!

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the publication process for your assigned portfolio of rules and standards, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.
  • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, proactively driving progress and ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
  • Execute production tasks such as proofreading, quality assurance, and structural review.
  • Contribute to streamlining publication workflows and ensuring compliance with internal standards.
  • Create, refine, and manage images, graphics, and technical illustrations using basic image‑processing tools.
  • Prepare, format, and structure content for a range of digital platforms, supporting DNV’s growing digital delivery needs.
  • Support the development of digital tools and data solutions to improve publishing processes and enhance the impact and accessibility of technical documentation.

About you

What you bring:

  • Strong proficiency with digital tools, AI-supported workflows, and publishing systems.
  • A data-driven mindset and enthusiasm for modern tools and technologies.
  • Experience as a technical editor or similar role, with a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent command of written and verbal English.
  • Skills in image processing or handling digital visuals.
  • Experience with content management or data management.

  • Familiarity with rules, standards, and/or class systematics. and service document structures.
