About the role

Position Description:

  • Manage customers' requirements and Request for Inspection requests (RFIs).
  • Identify qualified inspectors to fulfil a specific service request.
  • Submit Inspectors' CVs and quotes to Customers and monitor approval.
  • Ensure POs are in place before the scope execution and monitor spend.
  • Mobilise the inspector for the inspection visit and update the inspector's schedule.
  • Monitor milestones and deadlines for timely transmission of deliverables.
  • Review the inspection reports within 12 hrs of receipt and issue them to the Client by the specified deadline.
  • Technical review of the inspection reports, if applicable.
  • Liaise with technical specialists in case of any issues detected in the report and or during inspection activity.
  • Follow the administrative deadlines to facilitate the internal invoicing processes.
  • Establish and maintain communications with clients, inspectors, vendors and DNV offices where applicable.
  • Use the production tool to manage the activities from the RFI to the approval of inspectors' timesheets and expenses in the system.
  • Support with the Pre-Payment Certificates (PPCs) for the customers as needed.

About you

Position Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the Inspection Coordinator role is mandatory.
  • General knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry and QA/QC services is mandatory.
  • Windfarm and/or Renewables inspection knowledge and experience is preferred.
  • A technical engineering background is preferred.
  • A degree (3 or 5 years) or equivalent standard in an appropriate discipline is preferred.
  • Experience working with large international projects within the Oil and Gas and/or Renewables Industry is preferred.
  • Computer-literate with good IT skills, including experience with MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce platform (preferred).

  • Aberdeen or the UK. Flexibility for hybrid working.
