About Group functions

Group functions in DNV are experts on finance and accounting, human resources, communication and sustainability, legal, tax and compliance – providing company-wide support, governance and strategic projects. Group also includes our strategic Research and Development unit, which provides science-based insights and foresight to tackle transformations and challenges across the industries we serve.

About the role

As the Global Lead of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, you'll lead efforts to create a diverse and inclusive workforce, developing and implementing DEI strategies aligned with our goals and values. Your leadership will inspire cultural change and empower employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • DEI Leadership: Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert on DEI, enabling DNV to realize it’s DEI vision and ambition.
  • Cultural Change: Continue to foster an inclusive work environment.
  • Initiatives: Develop tailored DEI programs and support strategic initiatives in Group People.
  • Policies: Establish fair treatment and opportunity practices. Drive the embedding of DEI in all relevant processes such as recruitment, retention, and development.
  • Program Oversight: Manage the global Inclusive Leadership Programme together with external partner and report progress to top management and wider organization.
  • Reporting and analytics: Report on DNV’s DEI initiatives to DNV’s Sustainability Report/Annual Report and ensure compliance and alignment with CSRD/ESRS. reporting requirements. Monitor progress and measure DEI effectiveness.
  • Advisory: Advise leaders, including top management, on DEI issues and propose remedial actions needed to address gaps or challenges.
  • Stakeholder Support: Guide internal DEI groups and managers.
  • External Collaboration: Enhance DNV’s DEI reputation.

About you

  • Education/Experience: Master degree in relevant domain, and or 5+ years of DEI experience. Significant DEI experience with proven track record of implementing successful DEI programs in global, international companies.
  • Leadership: Ability to inspire and engage stakeholders.
  • Project management: Organize, delegate, plan, and coach staff.
  • Communication: Navigate complex cultural issues effectively.
  • Global Perspective: Understand cross-cultural dynamics.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ensure DEI is integrated and supporting business objectives.
  • Openness: Foster mutual respect and trust.
  • Clarity: Present complex ideas concisely.
  • Partnership Skills: Build strong relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis abilities.
  • Language: Excellent English communication.
