Group functions in DNV are experts on finance and accounting, human resources, communication and sustainability, legal, tax and compliance – providing company-wide support, governance and strategic projects. Group also includes our strategic Research and Development unit, which provides science-based insights and foresight to tackle transformations and challenges across the industries we serve.

About the role

DNV is accelerating its digital transformation, using data to create value for the company and our customers by improving performance insight, digital experiences, and decision making.

We are looking for a Digital Analytics Specialist to manage and evolve DNV’s global digital marketing and communications analytics ecosystem, ensuring robust measurement foundations, scalable tracking architectures, and actionable insights that enable smarter content, channel, and customer journey decisions across the organization. In this role you will combine strategic ownership with hands‑on delivery, shaping how marketing technology, data, insight, AI, and modern measurement capabilities come together.

You will be part of our Group Communications unit that plays a central role in strengthening DNV’s brand, customer engagement, and digital presence. We bring together expertise across marketing technology, digital customer experience, web development, digital platforms, analytics, and brand strategy. In this role, you will also collaborate closely with colleagues across Group functions, Business Areas, and Global Shared Services to drive impact.

Key responsibilities:

Platform Ownership, Governance & Optimization

  • You will ensure that our measurement framework is scalable, compliant, and designed to support brand engagement, lead generation, and conversion performance.
  • Own and manage enhancement for relevant global marketing and communication analytics platforms and tools.
  • Uphold global analytics standards and governance for accuracy, compliance, security, and consistency.
  • Provide scalable, compliant tracking solutions aligned with business needs.

Digital Performance, Insights & Enablement

  • Generate insights/analytics across digital platforms, and act as an advisor for the business.
  • Translate business needs into scalable tracking architectures and measurement frameworks.
  • Develop analytics capabilities that support digital sales journeys, conversion performance, and value demonstration.
  • Partner with CX/UX experts to assess web enhancements and quantify their impact.

Data Integration & Ecosystem Expansion

  • Assess and integrate new analytics tools to meet regional and functional needs.
  • Contribute to the evolution of analytics capabilities that strengthen DNV’s AI strategy.

Community Enablement

  • Build and nurture a strong global analytics community by driving initiatives that promote collaboration, best practice sharing, and analytics driven culture across DNV.

About you

This role is ideal for a business-minded candidate who is passionate about building robust analytics foundations, modernizing measurements with server-side and AI-enabled capabilities, and enabling teams with high quality insights.

We are looking for someone who brings a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and strategic thinking. You likely have experience as a marketing technology lead, digital analytics manager, or in a role connecting technology, data, and commercial outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in digital analytics and marketing technology, with hands-on expertise in GA4 360, Google Tag Manager and enterprise level tracking architectures.
  • A university degree (BA or Master) in Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with modern data and reporting ecosystems, including Data Lake environments and enterprise BI tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of lead generation and conversion performance, with the ability to design tracking and KPIs that support informed business decisions.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect data, insights and technology to business priorities, value creation, and long-term impact.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and GDPR-level compliance requirements.
  • Skilled at crafting compelling narratives grounded in data.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly and build capability through training, best practices and knowledge sharing.
  • Proactive, improvement-oriented mindset, able to anticipate needs, drive enhancements and optimize analytics platforms and processes for sustained business value.
