About the role

The Global Process Owner (GPO) Record to Report plays a key role in enabling the performance of GSS services and related processes within the Record to Report domain, as well as achieving key annual objectives. The GPO Record to Report will operate globally across technologies, ensuring global standards through effective process improvement, digitalization, proper governance, and controls. They will develop and manage processes to meet GSS strategy expectations in the following areas: Customer Value and Customer Experience, Efficiency and Productivity, Quality and Compliance. This role will report directly to GSS Finance Stream Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively monitoring, evaluating and escalating services and process performance within Record to Report domain, to enhance quality and efficiency of the processes in line with the indicators (KPIs) to assess process effectiveness.
  • Leading process and technology transformation within Record to Report domain, developing relevant business cases and managing related projects.
  • Designing people, process, control and technology standards and suitable solutions for Record to Report, for the end-to-end processes. Be the main point of contact between GSS and Group, ensuring that DNV processes are implemented in accordance with DNV strategy.
  • Establishing and maintaining appropriate process governance, controls, and documentation for Record to Report, ensuring quality and business continuity.
  • Maintaining Service Level Agreement discussions and documentation on the ongoing basis and in line with the annual process.
  • Identifying, prioritizing and coordinating continuous improvement initiatives within Record to Report domain, in alignment/ collaboration with Quality, Service Performance Reporting and Digitalization & Development.
  • Develop and facilitate implementation of standards within Record to Report domain that support the Compliance and business needs.

Competency Requirements:

  • Process Knowledge and Standardization: Deep understanding of Record to Report processes, including upstream and downstream dependencies. This includes driving global standardised process design and implementation.
  • System and Domain Knowledge: Proficiency in analytics, reporting, and using tools like Blackline, Oracle, or Power BI to monitor Record to Report metrics and identify improvement areas.
  • Governance: Establishing and maintain process governance and controls, striving to achieve high quality processes, play an enabling role and be responsible for overall design and governance.
  • Financial and Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of accounts receivable, cash management, (withholding) tax regulations, and compliance requirements for global operations.
  • Change Management and Leadership: Proven capability to lead transformation projects, implement new tools or processes, and drive cultural adoption across global teams.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Strong ability to collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and global stakeholders to streamline Compliance workflows.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align Record to Report operations processes with organizational strategic goals.

About you

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Relevant experience within a similar role or operational role required, with knowledge from the Record to Report domain.
