As the internal support organization for DNV and DNV owned companies, we deliver shared services within Human Resources, Finance, IT and Real Estate & Procurement to DNV globally. About the role

Are you comfortable tackling tasks you may not initially know the answer to?

We are currently seeking an HR Advisor for our Nordic region who is comfortable in finding solutions, even when faced with unfamiliar challenges. In this position, you will join a dedicated team of seven HR Advisors, three Talent Acquisition Specialists, and two Labour Law Advisors. Together with our Global Centre, this professional group is driven by expertise and motivation to support 3,600 employees across the Business Areas within Norway, Finland, Denmark and Sweden.

Our HR Advisory unit deliver HR services that drive DNV’s growth, build trust through consistent interpretation of procedures, and update templates to comply with laws and DNV decisions. We foster a collaborative and supportive environment with numerous opportunities for professional HR growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Offer HR advice for Nordic countries, requiring local knowledge, and clarify policies for employees and managers
  • Maintain and update governance documents and procedures to comply with regulations
  • Perform due diligence related to HR during M&A processes
  • Lead or assist in post-merger HR integrations or other HR projects
  • Analyze market trends and benchmark compensation and benefits through market insight and internal analysis

About you

To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Hold a relevant university degree
  • Have 3-5 years of operational HR experience
  • Apply a consultative approach in giving advice to managers and employees across the organization
  • Maintain a positive attitude and a proactive customer-centric mindset
  • Collaborate effectively and contribute to a team-oriented work environment
  • Be curious, learning-oriented and dare to take on new challenges
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, a talent for problem-solving, and a focus on delivering solutions
  • Have systems understanding and embrace new technology as an opportunity
  • Possess excellent written and verbal skills in Norwegian/Scandinavian and English
