About the role

The Global Shared Services IT Center in Pune delivers high-quality services across key domains including Business Intelligence (BI), Finance Applications, CRM, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and End User Services. As DNV undergoes an exciting digital transformation—mirroring the evolution of the industries we serve—the Pune center plays a critical role in supporting our global business areas with the tools and systems needed to enhance customer engagement and service delivery.

The PLM Section is responsible for the development, operation, and support of a business-critical application used across various business areas within DNV. This application is built on the Siemens Teamcenter PLM platform.

In your role as PLM Teamcenter Development - Senior / Lead you will:

  • Lead and mentor the Teamcenter development team in Pune.
  • Drive technical architecture, design reviews, and ensure adherence to development best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.
  • Plan and manage sprint activities in coordination with global teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Work with external partners (Intelizign) to align on development and delivery standards.
  • Support incident and change management activities for the PLM application. Maintain awareness of new features and roadmap within Siemens Teamcenter and evaluate their applicability.

About you

Successful candidates should have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). In-depth knowledge of the PLM domain is essential to effectively lead the PLM development team.

We are looking for a candidate with expertise and experience in several of the following areas:

  • Required skills
    • 8+ years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter customization and development.
    • Strong understanding of Teamcenter architecture, ITK, RAC, SOA, AWC, and BMIDE.
    • Hands-on programming experience in Java and/or C++.
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
    • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and software development life cycles. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Nice to have (Optional) skills
    • Experience with Teamcenter integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MES, CAD).
    • Familiarity with Teamcenter upgrades or cloud migration strategies.
