About the role

The Finance Applications team is part of the Core Applications unit within DNV’s Global Shared Services IT. The team focuses on establishing, maintaining, and supporting a full overview of finance applications to ensure stable end-to-end operations across the globe. With Oracle eBusiness Suite at its core, additional products that complement key processes such as purchasing, banking, credit collection, and invoicing are also part of the finance suite. A well-functioning and up-to-date finance system acts as a key engine to support our organization’s commercial and financial commitments, with integrations to our business production and reporting tools.

The Oracle Technical Analyst is part of the Invoice and Cash team within the Finance Applications unit, whose main locations are Gdynia, Poland, and Pune, India. The team works as one unit regardless of location, and work is prioritized based on customer needs and skills, not location. Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure Finance Applications solutions are maintained in line with the global template approach, while supporting country-specific requirements where relevant.
  • Proactively collaborate with team members and other Finance Applications teams to resolve customer issues efficiently and with a high level of quality.
  • Work closely with Solution Architects and Global Process Owners to discuss and align on solutions before development.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to discuss and present the current solutions supported by the team from an overall perspective.
  • Deliver requirements that are properly developed, documented, tested, and implemented in accordance with agreed standards and best practices.
  • Follow established development best practices, ensuring that documentation is accurate, high quality, and consistently maintained.
  • Effectively engage with customers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
