About the role

DNV Digital & Data Solutions is seeking a Head of Sales for the product line QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment) who reports into the Business Line Director. In this role you will focus on strategies that drive user acquisition, retention, and overall product growth for Synergi Life. This role will ensure that growth strategies are aligned with product goals and market opportunities.

The QHSE product line in DNV Digital & Data Solutions has the overall responsibility of looking after the Synergi Life Software. Synergi Life software empowers organizations with our ESG, QHSE, and Risk Management software, fostering a culture of continuous learning and enabling sustainability and driving operational excellence. We help our customers manage their risks and excel in safety and risk management.

As the Head of Sales in QHSE Business Line you will be a key member of the QHSE leadership team. The role oversees a global sales team with ambitions to accelerate customer acquisition. This role is a collaborative and global role putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.

Primary tasks of the role:

  • Sales funnel and growth ownership/Hunting - Accountability for revenue engine health and growth outcomes
    • Overall responsible for health of sales funnel and sales performance
    • Overall responsible for growth ambitions in the Product Line, including digital commerce
    • Driving hunting activities within strategic areas defined in the Playbook
  • Business Development & Go‑to‑Market Execution - Planning and executing growth initiatives with the commercial ecosystem
    • Making BD and sales plans and driving execution in close collaboration with marketing
    • Acting as cross‑product‑line BD in the respective geography
    • Bid review, optimizing overall revenue over the customer lifetime
  • Market, Customer Insight and competitive analysis - Ensuring market and customer insight drives prioritization and growth
    • Providing customers’ needs and market insights to the whole value chain
    • Owning market analysis and leading the heatmap process
    • Supporting competitive analysis
  • Sales Performance & Capability Development - Building a high‑performing commercial organization
    • Developing strong sales performance management
    • Developing sales competence
    • Building a strong sales and BD teamwork culture.

About you

Successful candidate to take this role:

  • Holds a master’s degree in a technical field,
  • Demonstrates strong leadership capabilities with a proven history of managing and guiding larger teams
  • Brings solid expertise in hunting customers and a deep understanding of how to drive growth and value in a SaaS software business
  • Is skilled in coaching sales managers
  • Possesses robust management skills, ensuring effective planning and predictability of sales and opportunities
  • Has experience with Synergi Life or similar QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) software would as an advantage
  • Has strong written and verbal English communication skills.
