As an Infrastructure Manager, you will lead a team of 8 IT systems engineering experts and oversee complex projects for the Infrastructure supporting our GPM SCADA solution, designed for monitoring and managing renewable energy assets. Overall, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient operation and optimization of this infrastructure to maintain high performance and reliability standards.

What you’ll do:

  • Allocate and prioritize projects and tasks to the available resources,
  • Ensure adherence to organizational processes and that team tasks are completed on time and with high-quality standards,
  • Monitor all projects worldwide developed by the team, providing economic and completion status reports as required,
  • Facilitate process and cost improvement in the department,
  • Motivate, guide, and inspire the team to maintain high levels of engagement,
  • Conduct one-to-one meetings with team members and assess performance,
  • Engage with IT experts across the organization to exchange knowledge and discuss technology advancements.
  • Manage customer relationships throughout projects lifecycle, ensuring regular communication and effectively addressing escalations.

You will join and lead our On-site Infrastructure team. Our team is dedicated to successfully deploy and manage the infrastructure of GPM solutions designed to monitor and control renewable energy sites. We ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget constraints, emphasizing both. Excellence and efficiency to deliver optimal experiences and highest quality to our customers. To achieve this, we actively create specific tools and automation processes, enabling us to deliver intelligently and uphold our position as industry leaders.

About you

To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:

  • Master´s degree in Information Technology, or a related Engineering field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure management, with at least 4 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading teams of IT experts and specialists, including resource & task allocation, performance, management, and people development.
  • Strong technology knowledge in redundant networks and server management.
  • Proven track record in project planning, management, and reporting, including financial KPIs.
  • Customer oriented mindset with proven experience in managing and dealing with client relationships.
  • Proficient communication skills, both in English and Spanish, including the ability to write clear and accurate reports.
