DNV Energy Systems' Renewables and Power Grids group is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Measurements team. The primary function of this position is to support construction crews in installations and maintenance of meteorological stations including met masts, lidars, and solar monitoring stations. You will work with clients regularly, providing them with quality measurement and maintenance campaigns and building genuine relationships as part of one of the most respected independent consultancies in the world.

This role is based at our DNV office in Seattle, WA, Portland, OR. While this role is tied to a specific location, we will consider qualified candidates in other U.S. locations such as San Diego, CA, Oakland, CA, Austin, TX, Houston, TX, or Medford, MA. What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll help deliver high‑quality wind and solar measurement campaigns by coordinating subcontractors, customer priorities, and technical inputs, ensuring work is completed safely and meeting customer expectations. Your work will focus on planning, coordination, technical judgment, and clear communication.
Primary responsibilities (85%-100% of working hours)

Act as project manager for meteorological station installations and service campaigns, including:
Serve as key point of contact for customers, helping translate technical requirements into clear plans and maintaining strong, trusted relationships throughout the project.
Organizing and overseeing subcontractor schedules and mobilizations for on-site installation and commissioning of equipment, often with last-minute changes.
Remotely support technical troubleshooting (meteorological sensors, data acquisitions systems, etc.)
Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to resolve issues in a time critical manner
Safely complete projects by ensuring work is planned and executed in accordance with DNV safety procedures and industry best practices
Consulting, designing, procuring, and preparing instrumentation suites for measurements.
Data monitoring, authoring and reviewing technical plans and reports

Work with team leaders to coordinate delivery of all the Section’s projects per the following priorities:
Customer satisfaction
Timeliness, quality and on-budget of deliverables
Uncovering opportunities to add value
Field Engagement, optional but preferred (0%-15% of working hours, based on interest and project needs)
- Observing or supporting inspection, verification, and commissioning of measurement systems.
- Climbing wind turbines and meteorological masts.
- Troubleshooting data acquisition systems and sensors.
Additional tasks may include but are not limited to:
- Supporting business development through lead generation and proposal writing.
- Developing tools and processes to continuously improve quality, safety, and value delivered to customers.
- Attend and participate in Regional, Department, Section, Lunch & Learn meetings, etc.
- Attend and participate in internal and external safety, IT, management trainings, etc.
