About the role

Join our Pipeline Team in Groningen as an engineer and get the chance to work with global, international clients and help us shape industry standards and regulations!

We are recognized as top notch leading advisors providing assurance services related to pipeline systems and storage, both onshore and offshore, throughout their lifecycle from concept, through operations and re-qualification, to decommissioning.

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Working with Hydrogen and CO2 pipeline technologies, and you’ll be in the forefront of the energy transition.
  • Working with both on- and offshore pipelines, together with world-class colleagues for the biggest players in the industry.
  • Working with technical safety to safeguard Life, Property and Environment.
  • Leading projects in the area of technology development, taking key roles in joint industry projects and guiding re-qualification. Key disciplines in the project teams are contribution from mainly Northern Europe but special expertise is available globally.
  • Pipeline condition- and integrity assessments
  • Actively contribute to project deliveries either as expert work or project management.

About you

You will fit right into our team if you meet the following criteria:

Qualifications:

  • Degree in structural, mechanical, flow technology (Masters or PhD level), or similar, relevant fields
  • English language fluency.
  • Ability to work independently, in a team and as project manager.
  • Several years of experience working in the oil and gas/ energy industry, preferably within the field of pipelines
  • Domain knowledge and experience within onshore/ offshore pipeline design and integrity
