About the role

Are you looking for a job, where you can be a trusted voice to tackle global transformations?

Would you like to thrive in a dynamic, international environment with lots of exciting challenges every day? Do you want to be part of a team of skilled colleagues and in a global organization where we work as one team?

We invite qualified engineers looking for opportunities to join our team in Renewables Certification.

Renewables Certification (RC) belongs to business area Energy Systems and has the global responsibility for Type Certification (TC), Component Certification (CC) and Project Certification (PC) for Renewables. RC is the global market leader in the Renewables Certification market and is involved in 80% of Project Certification for offshore wind parks including offshore substations in the world.

We are looking for experienced Electrical Engineers, with a strong profile and interest in working with renewable energy. There are two positions available within our Department for Offshore Substations, one with primary focus towards the certification of electrical installations for offshore substations and offshore converter platforms and one with primary focus towards certification of electrical installations for offshore substations and wind turbine generators. Given the significant overlap in technical compentence, these two untis work closely together within the Department and as such, there are opportunities to work across these assets depending on your interests. Similarly, there are also opportunities to work on the certification of electrical installations within wind turbine generator designs as well, but this is not the primary focus of these positions.

As an experienced Electrical Engineer, you will form part of a multidisciplinary team engaged in design, manufacturing, transportation & installation, and commissioning verification activities together with our structural, fire & safety, and E&I engineering teams located across our European offices (locations include Copenhagen, Esbjerg, Hamburg, and Oslo).

In this role you will:

  • Cover all steps in the certification process from review of early designs to design verification, fabrication surveillance, transportation & installation, commissioning, and periodic inspection of installations in operation,
  • Some travel will be required within Europe, possibly further abroad, but such travel is usually flexible.
