About Energy Systems

We help customers navigate the complex transition to a decarbonized and more sustainable energy future. We do this by assuring that energy systems work safely and effectively, using solutions that are increasingly digital. We also help industries and governments to navigate the many complex, interrelated transitions taking place globally and regionally, in the energy industry.

About the role

Join us in shaping the energy transition at its core and work on the demanding challenges of helping to shape the future of the electricity grids.

In the Digital System Operation team, we support national and international grid operators in the integration of renewable energies into the power grid, the upgrading of existing control systems and the secure management of power grids with a high share of renewable energies.

Have you always wondered what makes our highly sensitive electricity grid tick? And how to build it in such a way that it remains stable and secure despite the increasing integration of renewable energies? Perhaps you also wonder how our electricity price is made up and why it is constantly rising? If you would like to get to know the digital twin of our electricity grid, then join our team, we look forward to meeting you!

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Data Model Engineer for the configuration of highly critical control systems as soon as possible.

We are working to ensure that our highly sensitive electricity grid, which integrates a high proportion of renewable energy and flexible consumers, functions always safely and reliably by building the digital twin for monitoring and control. If you would like to join us in shaping the digital twin, then come and join our team. We look forward to meeting you!

Main tasks:

  • Creation and maintenance of data models in the control system that represent the physical power grid
  • Checking the data models by simulating the individual data points
  • Preparation of basic data and control for quality and plausibility
  • Carrying out consistency checks between the data source and the control system
  • Collaboration in projects in the control system environment and support in the further development of the team
  • Active exchange and coordination with customers in connection with the planning and project planning of network models

Further tasks:

  • Active participation in the data modelling improvement and automated testing tools for quality assurance
  • Collaboration in projects in the control system environment
