Our Offshore Infrastructure department comprises of approximately 170 people dedicated to assurance services across varied sectors. We are organised into two sections: the Asset Assurance section, which focuses on providing verification services for in-service operations and the Project Assurance section (where this opportunity sits), which provides the technical advisory support and verification from the new building design phase up to offshore commissioning.
We are at the forefront of driving the global transition towards green energy, focusing primarily on the installation and operation of offshore structures. Our team delivers sophisticated solutions and engineering assessments to support renewable energy projects, particularly offshore wind farms, while also ensuring the safety of offshore operations for our oil and gas clients. We play a pivotal role in establishing standards and best practices for offshore geotechnical solutions across various industry bodies such as DNV, ISO, SNAME, and numerous Joint Industry Projects (JIPs).
Our Opportunity:
We are a diverse group of engineers within the Project Assurance section of our Offshore Infrastructure department, collaborating with colleagues across multiple disciplines such as structural, mechanical, metocean, naval architects and hydrodynamic engineers. Our projects can be located almost anywhere around the world from Alaska to New Zealand, providing genuine variety to the range of challenges you will encounter. Whilst our projects are global, this position is based at our Central London office. From here, you'll work closely with geotechnical colleagues throughout our organization, with opportunities to participate in exchange programs between different DNV offices worldwide.
