About Energy Systems
About the role
- Work with multidisciplinary global teams and provide advisory services to clients located in the UAE, KSA, Qatar, Egypt, Southern Europe and other regions globally.
- Ability to develop high quality customized solutions for clients.
- Strong external network of clients and contractors within the UAE, KSA, Qatar and Egypt.
- Leverage on external network and identify, drive and facilitate sales and market led opportunities e.g. generating leads, quality proposals and closing contracts.
- Ability to aggressively expand market share in the UAE, KSA, Qatar and Egypt.
- Build an internal network within DNV to gain and share knowledge and opportunities.
- Execution of projects and preparation of tender documents or proposals.
- Ability to act as a Technical Lead and Project Manager for multidisciplinary advisory projects.

About you
- Education (master’s or bachelor’s degree) in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Process Engineering, or related discipline.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Must be proficient in spoken and written English.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment and balance multiple work streams and deliver with high quality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Willingness to travel and work at DNV or client locations worldwide.
- Industry/sector exposure to one or more of the stated sectors would be a strong advantage: Maritime, Oil & Gas, Railway, LNG Terminals, New Fuels such as Ammonia, Hydrogen, Refineries/Petrochemical Plants, Pipelines, Power Generation/Distribution/Transmission, Carbon Capture, Batteries/Energy Storag, Private Equity and Financial Services.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in at least two of the following areas is a must:
- Enterprise Risk Management and Key Risk Indicator (KRI) Management.
- Process Safety Management, Management Systems and Development of Technical Guidelines and Standards.
- Safety Culture and Behaviour Based Safety.
- Implementing a risk-based decision-making process to aid in change management.
- Development, Optimization and Operationalization of Maintenance, Inspection and Testing Plans.
- Operational Excellence, Maintenance Excellence and Process Excellence.
- HSE Excellence.
- Technical and Commercial Feasibility Assessments.
- Due Diligence/Asset Transactions.
- Business Continuity Plan and Crisis Management.
- Root Cause Analysis and Incident Investigations.
- Plant Performance Improvement.
- Cybersecurity
