This Intern position will be part of DNV’s Digital Solutions Electric Grid team. The position will be a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from the Corvallis, Oregon office which creates and supports software for electric utilities. DNV is seeking a summer intern to accelerate our frontend development work, with the potential to work across multiple products. The tasks will vary but will give you exposure to computer security, cloud-first deployment, and AI to accelerate development, just to name a few. We have small teams where everyone's contribution matters.
What you’ll Do
- Assist in building and maintaining web user interfaces using HTML, CSS/SCSS, and TypeScript
- Help translate design mockups (e.g. from Figma) into responsive, accessible web pages
- Learn and apply best practices in web development, including mobile-first design and accessibility
- Learn and grow within a high-performing, energetic and encouraging agile team that embraces best practices in CI/CD and automated testing
- Gain hands-on experience working with real production code and industry tools
