About the role

To succeed in this role, you will own the commercial growth of our Training Services portfolio while managing day‑to‑day delivery. You will build and convert a pipeline of opportunities, meeting customers, shaping solutions, preparing proposals, negotiating and closing deals so that our offer matches customer needs and delivers on revenue and margin targets. As the manager for the Training function, you will lead our Training Coordinator, plan and optimize Open and In‑house courses, issue quotations for in‑house requests, forecast accurately, and co‑sell with the sales team to reach our commercial goals.

Your main responsibilities are to:

  • Drive commercial growth of Training Services
    Own revenue and margin targets for the training portfolio; build and convert a pipeline of opportunities, meet customers, craft proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals.
  • Align our training offer to our customers’ needs
    Continuously review and adapt the portfolio based on market demand and customer feedback.
  • Plan and execute our training portfolio
    Develop schedules and delivery plans for Open and In‑house courses, optimizing resources for profitability.
  • Budget responsibility for our Open Training courses
    Monitor financial performance and take actions to achieve budget goals.
  • Overall responsibility for cooperation with the Sales Team regarding our training offer
    Co‑sell with KAMs, support opportunity development, and embed training solutions in account strategies.
  • Develop relationships, handle offers, and support sales to customers
    Strengthen partnerships, prepare quotations, and ensure timely follow‑up.
  • Proactively “farm” our existing customers by growing relations and managing customer satisfaction
    Identify upsell opportunities and maintain high satisfaction scores.
  • Secure sourcing of trainers that match our training portfolio
    Ensure trainer capability aligns with customer expectations and commercial commitments.
  • Manage data in our LMS and CRM system
    Maintain accurate course data, quotations, and forecasts for transparency and reporting.

About you

You can have an educational background coming from the human resources side or from the commercial business side. The right candidate has the perfect balance between a commercial mindset, a customer focused approached and a good technical understanding of the corporate education space.

The right candidate has either a proven track record in a similar role from the commercial side or a corporate education background with a strong commercial mindset and experience from business development and learning design.

We expect that you have experience working with learning design, LMS and Microsoft Office. Our services are highly specialized that requires you to have good abilities to communicate and develop the value of education connected to our core service third-party certifications.

It’s not a condition that you have experience with certifications - most important of all is that you know your area and have the ability to engage in a professional environment with a great focus to meet a variety of requirements for our services. You will get a thorough education in our services and will participate in courses where you learn our strategy, services and markets.

We are looking primarily for a real commercial focused person who has a personal drive for business development, is outgoing and proactive. You will be direct manager for one colleague and also work in a team with the sales colleagues in the department. We very much value a positive and constructive attitude.

From the candidates we expect:

  • To be results-oriented and focused on achieving your goals - as well as your team’s goal;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within corporate training;
  • Sales target responsible;
  • High School diploma;
  • Ability to work in a structured way with our customers and within the team;
  • Proactive and positive approach, to be target driven;
  • Constructive, solution-oriented attitude and being good at solving complex cases;
  • Ability to successfully handle challenges in cooperation with others;
  • Adherence to the DNV's values;
  • A strong analytical and communication skills;
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English, in speaking and writing;
