About the role

We are seeking an Information Security Consultant with a strong background in cybersecurity, governance, risk management, and compliance. This role provides an opportunity for upskilling to become an Associate PCI DSS Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and eventually a fully qualified QSA. As an Information Security Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate complex security challenges, implement robust security controls, and achieve compliance with industry standards and regulations.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps tailored to clients' specific needs
  • Assist clients in achieving and maintaining PCI DSS compliance and other regulatory requirements and work towards becoming an Associate PCI DSS QSA
  • Perform vendor risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security standards
  • Implement security controls and promote security awareness across diverse organizations
  • Provide operational guidance for the secure implementation of third-party services and evaluate associated risks

About you

To be able to succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of security policies, frameworks, and the ability to develop and enforce security policies and requirements.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity risk assessments, security audits, and compliance initiatives.
  • Familiarity with PCI DSS requirements and a willingness to undertake training to become an Associate QSA.
  • Competence in cloud security and the ability to foster security awareness throughout organizations.
  • General knowledge of IT and IT security, including network security, operating systems, and security best practices.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across various levels of an organization.
  • Proficiency in English and Danish.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as (ISC)2 Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, Certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, Internal Auditor, or GIAC Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA).
  • Knowledge of payment card ecosystems and related security considerations.
  • Experience with security standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 2700x, NIST, CSA CCM, GDPR, DORA and CRA.
  • Experience in implementing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and achieving ISO 27001 certification.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Willingness to upskill and pursue PCI DSS QSA certification.
