Mark - Engineering Team Lead

Hi, I am Mark Hogan. I'm the engineering team lead here at DNV. My job as a team leader here at DNV Spadeadams is to manage the engineering team. And that doesn't just involve the day-to-Day people management, but also the allegation of projects and the technical support. As well as that, I also run projects of my own. So I'm a lead engineer on some of the really some really interesting and key projects that TMV have running at the moment. The exceptional amount of world experts that we have here. Um, and the unique knowledge that is available across DNV is the, as a whole company and DNV spirit. Adam is unique again in itself because of the, the actual variety of work that we can do here to one of the only places in the UK or the world that we can do full scale non-destructive and destructive testing, which allows us to, uh, to develop the, the best possible results for our clients. I love going to DNV every day because it's not only a, a fantastic place to build knowledge, skills, the right of work that we do here. I have had quite a lot of opportunity at DNV to then develop. I started, um, quite a few years ago as an apprentice, did an HNC and HND and then got the opportunity to progress onto degree level. So I completed my mechanical engineering degree while working as an engineer, um, for DNV based here at Spadeadam, which allowed me to, uh, to basically implement what I was learning during that degree straight into my work here at Speed Island. We care. We dare, we share. It means to me that we as DNV care about not only everyone that works for DNV, but our clients, the outcomes of the work that we're doing, we dare, is that we dare to go the extra mile and we dare to basically look for those innovative, creative solutions that clients and the industry need. And then we share that knowledge throughout the industry and ensure that everyone is, is aware of what DNV has done and what we have done with working with our, our partners and clients.
