Dawn - Senior Project Manager

Dawn McNeil, enior project manager, been at DNV now coming up to three years. I manage projects from kind of concept stage all the way through to build and test, basically meeting the deliverance of the client, um, through managing the budget, managing the timeline, and ensuring that the delivers are the quality that's required. One of the main things that kind of hit me when I first started here was the sheer amount of expertise and knowledge that we've got at literally a click of a mouse. And within weeks of me starting, I was already in touch with people from London, in Edinburgh, you know, you know, all the way across the uk to, and bringing the expertise into various aspects of the, of the project. And everyone is so willing to help. And if they can't help, they always know someone who can. So for me, DNV is a really unique place to work, um, because of the people you feel that you can say anything. You feel like you, you're heard, you feel like you've got a lot of autonomy as well. I think it's really important being able to speak up, um, not just my team, but me as a project manager, and to be able to challenge and be able to ask questions that makes me feel value and heard. Because we are, we are going through that as a team. We're expressing that as a team, and we're working through it together. Um, the door's open, you know, um, and me as a, as a PM making sure that that's available. Um, and people can come to me for, um, advice or to run ideas through. That also makes me feel really, really valued, um, as a, as a team member and as a project manager.
