Taume: Transforming user experiences. Designing for the future.
The biggest opportunity here is the expertise and also the fact that you can become a project manager and get a bigger role within your field. Many of our applications have been there since the 80s, 90s, and are kind of legacy applications, right? And as a UX designer, my job is to make sure that these are updated so that they fit kind of the current world that we live in today, we are also now getting the opportunity to design AI solutions for our customers to also make their jobs easier. And we as UX designers are a big part of that. So that is, I think, one of the most exciting parts of my work. When we talk to customers, it means that they're being listened to. When we approach the customer, it's usually to ask for their feedback on how our application works or to ask them to explain if we're adding in a new feature of how they would like it to work. I think this is one of the best places for work-life balance because in the summer I went out swimming almost every day. I go to the gym two times a week. We have kayaks that I've used. I've played at the tennis court there. I go out and take ice cream with my friends around the buildings. There are two different canteens. One day I'll eat there, the other day I'll eat there. So just the fact that there's so much variety within the buildings and the people working here that you can kind of do, hang out and do a lot of things while you're at work is my favourite part, including the work of course.
